We achieve this mission through education, advocacy, and collaboration. As Illinois’ green building advocate and education resource, USGBC–Illinois provides over 100 educational programs, events, building tours, research studies, and advocacy initiatives each year, through its five-branch, state-wide network. INDIVIDUAL GIVING – (contributions are accepted at any level) – Many individuals have asked how they can help USGBC-Illnois to continue our important education and advocacy work in the five strategic areas: Green and Healthy Schools, Green and Healthy Homes, Existing Buildings and Building Retrofits, Green Building Research and Advocating  for Green Building Code(s) or Standard(s) in Illinois.  Our Individual Giving Campaign directly supports these efforts by providing operating and program support to all of the Chapter’s programs, events, tours, research programs, and advocacy initiatives and by providing start-up funds for new green building programs and resources throughout the year.  You can make an online donation or contact Brian Imus at (312) 245-8300 x201 for more details about individual giving.

Your support will show the sustainable building industry and our Chapter members, friends and volunteers that you are committed to buildings and communities that give people better, brighter and healthier spaces in which live, work, and play.
