About USGBC
USGBC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community of leaders working to make green buildings available to everyone within a generation.
The USGBC and its member organizations are dedicated to transforming our built environment so that the
places we live, work, learn, and play become tools in the quest for environmental sustainability, economic prosperity and social equity. Buildings represent a tremendous opportunity to mitigate climate change,
conserve water, reduce pollution, and nurture human health. The green building movement will only succeed
in maximizing this opportunity if we all actively engage in an ongoing conversation to drive innovation and transform the marketplace. The USGBC community is the heart of this critical conversation.
USGBC’s diverse contributions include the LEED green building certification program, the Greenbuild International Conference & Expo, a robust selection of educational offerings, a thriving network of local Chapter making grassroots change across the country, and proactive advocacy and outreach to promote public policy to pave the way for a more sustainable built environment. USGBC Membership Dues
USGBC membership dues are based on an organization’s industry category and gross annual revenue. Membership entitles all regular employees of a member organization to access to the benefits of membership.
