Meet your Emerging Professionals Leaders!
Dhruti was born in London, UK and raised in Mumbai, India, and has been living in the Chicago suburbs, off and on, for the past 9 years. She attended University of Illinois Urbana Champaign for her undergraduate studies in Civil and Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering and Construction Management. At University of Illinois, she was the second USGBC Students Chapter President, and during her term she launched LEED study sessions for students interested in pursuing LEED Green Associates accreditation. She is currently working as a structural engineer for Sargent and Lundy LLC.

Chapter Member, Juanita Garcia chosen as the Emerging Professional Regional Recruitment Chair for Illinois & Indiana
|Juanita Garcia, LEED AP BD+C - Kroeschell EngineeringJuanita Garcia is an advocate for sustainable design. Her vision is for a greater connection to our environment in the spaces we live and work through a holistic approach to design that can have lasting positive effects on the health and well being of individuals. Her experiences as a licensed massage therapist and studying psychology in the Netherlands influence her approach.Juanita has been a proponent of LEED since working on her first LEED project in 2008. She was among the first to earn the LEED AP credential with a BD+C specialization in 2009. Juanita is a Mechanical Designer at Kroeschell Engineering and currently serves as the USGBC Emerging Professionals Regional Chair of Recruitment for Illinois and Indiana.|
